I started the day by delivering my now-famous
Learning Perl course, or at least the
first four hours of lecture. I spent some of the rest of the day
sitting in on other Java lectures when I realized I could instead
be outside sitting by the pool, so I did. (No pictures of that!)
The keynote speech in the evening explained why Microsoft's C#
was a better language than Java, and raised much controversial
discussion.
After that, I headed up to the Crow's nest, winning a round of
"TV Theme Song Trivia", including being the only person in our
group to recognize the theme from the old
Bob Newhart show.
Thank goodness for my perpetual consumption of shows from
Nick at Nite and TVLand!
